We have an awesome friend named Sam that we don't get to see very often since he has lived the last few years in California. This summer he decided to move to New York City, which is just a $15 bus ride away from us, so he came down for the weekend to be one of the first of our friends to meet Cosby.
Atlas loves Sam and was very happy, hyper, and pretty bratty the whole weekend.

We spent an evening downtown for an art festival where Atlas did some sweet public break dancing.

Atlas was terrified of these super awesome puppets.

There was a cool boat installation.

He spent most of his time running away from us though.

We also went out to Jamestown. Atlas found a cool caterpillar.

Apparently they saw a really gross crab at the little lighthouse aquarium. I was nursing in the car, so I missed out on most the fun.

We went out to eat a few times. Atlas is good as long as he has a soda and the iPod.

Mmmm, dessert.

Unfortunately for Sam, we are really tired, since the kids don't really allow us any sleep. Fortunately for us, Sam is super cool and is fine with us being really boring.

We went to Roger Williams Park.

We saw some turtles, herons, ducks, and geese

and climbed some trees.

It was a fun weekend and it was nice to have a familiar face around. Hopefully we see Sam a few more times while we are living out here on the East Coast.
