This is a classic Utah post, sandwiched by two thin slices of Missouri.

I volunteer quite a bit with Atlas's elementary. The State Historical Society gave a grant to fifth graders to make a clay mural to be installed. I had lots of fun doing grunt work for it.

Building Legos and drinking Icee's is this kids main thing.

Spring Break came and we headed to Utah, because what else are we going to do, go on a real vacation? No lounging here. Atlas helped Grandpa till the garden.

It was also just a few days after his 6th birthday so we had a party. For his cake he wanted Pikachu with a lollipop in his mouth. Don't ask me.

Cosby slept through a lot of it.

It was just a classic good time: streamers, balloons, piƱata. Atlas has wanted this for a very long time.

My Dad: King of the Castle, scaring all the children away.

This is the first of two nieces (the little one) that I was introduced to for the first time on this trip.

We visited my mom and even got a couple smiles out of her!

Nate's Family

We roasted marshmallows.

Look at these two bad astronauts. They thought they were pretty tough in this Power Wheels.

Nick is in love with our friends, the Wheeler's, kids, and they love him back.

Their two girls play great with our two boys. Cosby came downstairs in a dress-up and said "Look, super hero!"

Dungeon Master Jason even led us on our first D&D experience!!!!! Bucket list, check.

A few days, it was warm enough to swim.

And eat pizza.

This is our second new niece we were introduced to.

Now we are back home and eating a lot of ice cream.

Making art.

And getting lots of rain.
