Nick finished school and had one week "technically" off. We went to St Louis for a day to hang out. At the zoo these two wanted (Atlas mostly) to share a stroller built for one.

Or Dad.

That weekend the kids and I headed out to Utah while Nick stayed back for summer school.

I love seeing all the cousins grow up together.
They don't want any photographic evidence.

Taking pictures together is just torture I guess.
That lady behind them is not amused.

Atlas and Cosby loved staying at Nick's parent house and made a gigantic mess in the basement. We basically moved in.

We went to Thanksgiving Point for the Museum of Natural History. Atlas, who is a know-it-all, in a very creative and non-factual way, told Hawkes all about each exhibit and what the animals names were. If I tried to correct Atlas he would not take it, and Hawkes liked Atlas's names better anyways.

We slept over at Meg and Landon's and drove home early the next morning. We got donuts for breakfast, which they loved until Atlas realized how sticky they were getting him.

About five minutes later

We spent one afternoon at Discovery Gateway with Lauren and the boys. Cosby only wanted to be at the ball exhibit. He made it very difficult to go to any other area of the museum.

He also adamantly insisted, and corrected me repeatedly, that this was a cow. Moo. (He just saw this over my shoulder and is saying "oh, cow, cow, cow."

The best part of the whole day and one of my favorite parts of our whole trip is when I gave in to Atlas wanting me to pay $2 to go in a wind tunnel. It was so worth it. If I would have had more ones I would have let them do it all day. It was absolutely hilarious.

We threw a pool party since Atlas has been so sad about not having a party yet. All the cousins from both sides (except one sick) were there.

These things are unbreakable nowadays.

We stayed at my parents' the last week. My favorite part= night swimming. Atlas wanted the water to be red like lava.

I laugh every time he puts goggles on.

Our last night in town we went mini golfing at Cherry Hill and it quickly became apparent that the kids were a little too young for it.

These two mostly just tried to put their hands in everything and pick up all the colorful balls.

But it's always a good time when your activities include rolling down a hill.

That night we roasted marshmallow (and Hi-Chews) by the fire and had a nice relaxing last night.

Now we are home and Nick spends a good deal of time translating German while the kids and I wonder what to do. We did go to a little city water park on Wednesday though, to cool down.

Last night, Atlas invited "all our friends" to movie night (on the shelf).

And the excitement is over. Let the boredom begin!
