Atlas (and Bixler) love having a yard! He loves to hunt for treasure, pull weeds and make potions out of leaves

At Brown, we were the only ones in the program with kids. This program is bigger because it is five years and includes non fiction and other genres. Here is a party for the program that we had at the park- look how many kids are there (and that's not even all of them)! (Oh, and our new friend Eric, we seem to attract Erics) We aren't the only married weirdos anymore.

Nick stays up all night and wakes up early to work so that he can help out at home. I've still be feeling pretty lousy and need all the help I can get.

This week my Dad drove to see us.We mostly just hung out around town, played videos games, and went out to eat. It was really nice to have some company, especially since it was a very busy week for Nick.

Cosby turned one on Thursday and we celebrated by going to St. Louis.

This time we went to the top of the arch. You ride in little space pods to get there.

And this is what we saw.

After that we spent a little time in the museum.

Then we headed of to the St. Louis Zoo, which was huge.

The boys competed over grandpa and we all had a great time.

After a long drive home, we waited for Nick to get home from his night class so we could sing Happy Birthday. Atlas insisted that Cosby was not one until we sang and had cake. Cosby wasn't super in to his cupcake, but he nibbled a little.

He loves all his new toys. We finally have space for toys and don't have to worry about where everything will go. Now they can have toy overload!

Atlas also had his first soccer game. Nick is the team coach.

Atlas sort of liked it, but he kept getting too hot, and became super sad when he realized Grandpa was leaving to go home right after the game, so half the game Atlas just cried into Nick's shoulder.

We also got a minivan, and I freaking love it.
